Quickly ID and improve the appearance of Windows folders

Rename a .jpg file "folder" and that image will be used as the thumbnail for the folder in which it resides.


You can also do this by right clicking the folder and selecting properties > customize > choose file.

    I always changed the Folder thumbnail by going through Folder Options.
