Type “about:config” in your Firefox address bar and press Enter.
Right click anywhere on the list and select New > Boolean from the menu.
Copy and paste network.manage-offline-status into the box and click OK.
Set to false to disable automatic offline mode.
Never had firefox do this but it's nice to know I'll be able to fix it if it does.
